Canaan Jax Fontenot

JENNINGS Graveside services for Canaan Jax Fontenot, infant son of Dwain and Roxane Fontenot, Jr., will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the Miller French Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bubba McCann and Bro. Garland Reed officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Canaan died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, Wednesday. Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Cali and Cortli Fontenot; two brothers, Cooper and Carter Fontenot; paternal grandparents, Dwain and Donna Fontenot, Sr., paternal great-grandparents, Anna Lou Fontenot and Linda Spell; maternal grandparents, Tony Gotte and Gwen Miller. Canaan will be carried to his final resting place by his brother, Cooper.
