Funeral services for Cameron Bryce Benoit, 19 of Jennings will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clifton LeJeune officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Cameron will begin at 10:00 a.m. on March 2, 2021 and continue until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Cameron worked in the food service industry and was a lifelong resident of Hathaway. He was an animal lover, was a kind spirited old soul who never met a stranger.  He was loved by everyone he encountered. He loved flea markets, fishing, outdoor activities, playing dominos and pool.  He taught himself to speak Japanese and always had a desire to live in Japan. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Kandy Bivens of Jennings; his father, Joshua “Shane” Benoit of Iota; brother Jacob Bivens of Jennings; Godmother; Lisa (Eric) Bivens Clement; Aunt Angie (Elvin) Davis; godchild, Brantley Davis; cousin, Keagan Davis; cousin, Christian Clement; Maternal grandmother, Irma Faye Bivens; Uncle, Seth Bivens; paternal grandmother, Sharon Rastley; paternal grandfather, Ronald Courville; Aunt Lindsay Courville; Uncle Ronnie Courville; fiancee’, Lilli Oliver; future in-laws Erin and John Hargrave and furbabies, Bella, Lainie and Mido.

Cameron is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Bivens.
