Funeral services for Mr. Calvin LeGros, Sr., 59, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022, in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Josh Belt officiating.

Burial will follow in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will begin Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

He was born in Jennings to Perry and Martha Martin LeGros. He was a lifelong resident of the Andrus Cove community.  He worked for K&K water company for twenty-five years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. But mostly he loved being with his kids and grandkids.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Martha (Keyomi) Palfrey and Nicole (Shawn LaBauve) LeGros both of Jennings; one son, Kevin LeGros of Lake Arthur; his sister, Romona (Ronald) Quebedeaux, twelve grandchildren, one great grandson and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Calvin LeGros, Jr.; and two brothers, Jerry and Roland LeGros.

Pallbearers will be Rory Quebedeaux, Donald Sonnier, lll., Kayden Palfrey, Kevin LeGros, Sr., LeVaughan Moore, and Dustin Touchet.

Honorary pallbearers are Kevin LeGros, Jr., Tyler LeGros, Keelan Palfrey, Stephen Roy, Kenndell LeGros, Keyomi “Five” Palfrey, Shawn LaBauve, and Maurice “Mouch” Martin.
