Funeral services for Mr. Brett Cason Hoffpauir, 23 will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randie Peterson of Assemblies of God World Missions in the Phillipines officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Visitation on Monday, April 7, 2014 will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Hoffpauir died Thursday, April 4, 2014 in Kenedy, Texas.

He was a lifelong resident of Gueydan and earned an associate degree in instrumentation. Mr. Hoffpauir was employed as an instrument technician in the oilfield industry. He loved to hunt, fish, work cattle, ride his horse, mud ride, living the country life and enjoyed cutting up and making people laugh.

Mr. Hoffpauir is survived by his parents; Gerald Hoffpauir of Gueydan and Roxanne Broussard Hoffpauir of Lake Arthur, LA., a sister; Alishia (Andy) Richard of Lacassine, LA, two brothers; Daniel (Ashley) Hoffpauir of Lake Charles and Justin (Destini) Bonin of Grand Lake, LA., his maternal grandmother; Ruby Louise Hoffpauir of Gueydan, LA, his paternal grandparents; Leroy and Audrey Broussard of Gueydan, LA,, his nieces; Allie Fontenot, Ava Richard and Bella Bonin and his nephew; Gunner Hoffpauir.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilfred Wayne Hoffpauir
