Brenda Kaye Jeanise

Jennings Brenda Kaye Jeanise, 56, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at 3:15 a.m. at her residence in Jennings. Ms. Jeanises body was cremated. Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings was in charge of arrangements. Ms. Jeanise was a native of Orange, Texas and lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a graduate of Jennings High School. She loved to sing, play the guitar and spend time with her family and friends. Survivors include her lifelong partner, Janet Daigle of Jennings, three daughters; Kisha Daigle of Jenings, Tanya Hammond and her husband Bob of Defuniak Springs, Fla., and Nikia LeBlanc and husband Paul of Kinder, her father; Shelby Jeanise of Jennings, two sisters; Terry Andrepont of Lafayette, Carol Jeanise of Lake Charles, a brother; Rickey Jeanise of Lake Charles, five grandchildren; Hannah Daigle, Kaleb Teal, Katelyn Teal, Braylan Daigle and Jason Hammond, seven nieces and nephews; Tabatha Schexnayder, Brian Neal, Brandi Owens, Chontell Ardoin, Dominick Ardoin, Brennon Jeanise and Jordan Jeanise, seven great nieces and one great nephew. Ms. Jeanise was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Bergeaux Jeanise, a sister, Janet Jeanise Neal and two brothers, Douglas Jeanise and David Glenn Jeanise.
