Mrs. Brenda Loftin Fontenot, 73, of Jennings passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, October 13, 2019. 

Visitation for Mrs. Fontenot will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Fontenot was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Melanie (David) Gillard of Sulphur, Pamela (Brad) Williamson of Mount Hermon, Kelly (Jerry) Aguillard of Jennings; her mother, Agnes Treme Loftin of Westlake; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her father, Ernest Loftin; her husband, Planey Joseph Fontenot, Jr.; her brother John Kenneth Loftin; her daughter, Tonya Fontenot and a granddaughter, Sarah Williamson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mrs. Fontenot’s memory be made to the charity of choice.
