Brenda was born on December 22, 1949 to Charles and Edolia Curet born and raised in Hathaway. She shared her childhood with Debbie, Charlene, Polly, Chuck, and Bill. She was swept off of her feet by Jimmie Hardee of Lake Arthur. The two have spent the last 49 years enjoying one another’s company and making wonderful memories.
Brenda was a hair dresser for 45 years in which she is known for transforming people as much with her prayers, love, and compassion as their hair. By far, her favorite jobs she would boast was being a Christian, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are:
Brandi and husband Jason, grand-daughters Abree, Emree, and Hardee Ross of Lake Charles.
Lori and husband Mike, grandson Cooper LeBlanc of Hathaway.
Regina and husband Lash Bailey of Columbia, South Carolina.
She loved Jesus and took every opportunity to spread his love. She enjoyed antiquing, shopping garage sales, cooking, gardening, visiting, praying, and traveling. She was blessed to have traveled all over the world.
Brenda was a longtime active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was a very active member in Faith Renewals, attended local and international prayer meetings and conferences to worship Christ.

Her funeral mass will be Monday, Feb 1 at 2PM at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Raymond, with Father William Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
She truly made the world a better place.
