Brandon T. Burton

JENNINGS Funeral services for Brandon T. Burton, 35, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Broussard officiating. Burial will be in St. Jules Church Cemetery in Tee-Mamou. Funeral home visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary led by Carline Fontenot will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Burton died at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 in Evangeline. Mr. Burton was a lifelong resident of Evangeline and an Iota High School graduate, class of 1991. He served in the U.S. Army and loved to hunt and fish. He was a boilermaker in the construction business. He loved his nieces and nephews and loved sharing the joy of fishing with small children. Survivors include his parents, Jude and Barbara Fontenot Burton of Evangeline, two brothers, Jude Charles Burton, Jr. of Tee-Mamou, and Shelby (Cotton) Burton and wife Toni of Tee-Mamou; two nieces, Rheagan Burton and Hannah Burton; two nephews Holden Burton and Collin Deville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Gertrude Burton and Shelby and Stella Fontenot. Pallbearers will be Greg Boone, Ricky Belair, Mac Burton, Todd Fontenot, David Hebert and Brad Comeaux.
