Funeral services for Mrs. Billie J. Bridy, 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Bro. Jered Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Bridy died at 4:30 pm., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in the Lafayette General Hospital.

Mrs. Bridy was a native of Illinois and a ten-year resident of Lake Arthur moving here from Texas.  She was a Certified Nurse’s Aide in healthcare.

Survivors include one daughter, Stacey Marie Bridy of Clear Lake, Texas; one son, Charles Bridy of Lake Arthur; one sister, Linda Benoit of Lake Arthur and three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edwin and Myrtle Allen Prater.
