It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Betty Ann Stegall, who left us peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 16, 1941, in Welsh, Louisiana, Betty was a true local treasure, known for her warm spirit and loving nature.
Betty dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family gatherings were her favorite times, especially when they involved barbecuing. If you really knew her, you know she often enjoyed her time at the casino, playing a few games. Betty had a green thumb and took great joy in gardening, tending to her plants and flowers with the same love she had for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Stegall; daughters, Jacqueline Collins and Sandra (Dirk) LeBlanc; son, Richard Yocham; sister, Mable (Daniel) Moore; along with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Lelia Daigle and Moise Daigle, her sisters, Wilma Ardoin, Estelle Racca, Ethel Fontenot, Ella Trahan, Ruth Gary
