Betty Miller

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Kelley Miller, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Masters officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. Mrs. Miller died at 12:50 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 in the Resthaven Nursing Home in Lake Charles. Mrs. Miller was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of the Jennings High School, class of 1943. She was a member of First Baptist Church; she managed the Kenwin Dress Shop, and was very devoted to her family who will cherish her memory. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Miller and wife Vicki of Lake Charles and Harlan D. Miller and wife Dana of Jennings; one sister, Otha Ferguson of El Paso, TX; one brother, George Kelley of Zachery, LA; grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Jenni Miller, Kati Miller and Darrell Miller, Jr.; great grandchildren, Ben, Braven, Ellie and Lanie.
