LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Monceaux Price, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Msgr. Ronald Groth and Rev. Jered Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Price died at 3:15 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 in St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. Mrs. Price was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She was an avid Saints fan and loved to cook for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and was a kind soul. Survivors include her husband, Johnie Price, Jr. of Lake Arthur; one daughter, Ann Price of Sulphur; one son, Bobby Price and wife Cindy of Lake Arthur; five sisters, Thelma Schexnider of Lake Arthur, Lucille LeJeune of Jennings, Margie Buerman of Missouri, Judy Istre of Lake Arthur, Earline Doucet of Roanoke; three brothers, Douglas Conner of Lake Arthur, Mike Conner of Iowa, Terry Conner of Lake Arthur; nine grandchildren; one step grandchild; 11 great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Mae Trahan Conner; one son, Glen Price, Sr.; four brothers, Alex Conner, Jr., Ted Conner, Donald Conner and Emery Conner.
