Betty Lou Ringuet

JENNINGS

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Monic Ringuet, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016 in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Miller officiating.

Burial will be in the Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Funeral home visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Ringuet was a lifelong resident of Hathaway. She enjoyed doing puzzle books and she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include one daughter, Rachelle Phenice and husband Mark of Hathaway; two sons, Reggie Ringuet and wife Cheryl of Lafayette, Randy Ringuet and wife Dana of Hathaway; one brother, Ben Monic and wife Estelle of Evangeline; ten grandchildren, Ryan Ringuet, Alicia Ringuet, Tyler Ringuet, Megan Duhon, Mallory Ringuet, Jack Ringuet, Robbie Ringuet, Hannah Phenice, Graceanne Phenice,Zachary Pehnice; and one great-grandchild, Walter Duhon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett and Mabel Richard Monic Sr.; her husband, Morris Ringuet; and one sister, Barbara Trahan.
