Betty Lou Fall

June 10, 1928 — September 12, 2017

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Thibodeaux Fall, 89, of Jennings, will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau with Father Randall Moreau officiating. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Fall will begin Wednesday, September 13 in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m. and will continue until 9:00 p.m. A scripture service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume, Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time to leave for the service.

Mrs. Fall died in Jennings September 12, 2017. She spent most of her life living in Mermantau. Her greatest love was to be with her family. She loved to garden and enjoyed reading. Two of her special favorite things were to dance with her husband and praying her rosary daily. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and was very devoted to her faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Constant Thibodeaux and Estelle Guidry Thibodeaux; her beloved husband, Rayln Fall; one son, Rayln Fall, Jr.; one sister, Nancy LaGuarde; one brother, Melvin Thibodeaux and one grandchild, Chad Martin.

Mrs. Fall leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Pamela Martin of Jennings, Patricia Fall of Jennings and Priscilla (Dale) Leger of Jennings; two sons, Daniel (Joycelyn) Fall of Moss Bluff and Nolan (Katie)Fall of Nashville, TN; one sister, Sandra Doucet of Mermentau; one brother, Ronald Thibodeaux of Jennings; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
