Beth Elaine Daniel

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Basel (Beth Elaine Boatler) Daniel, 88, will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings with Mr. Jack Harris officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Guidry cemetery in Batson, Texas under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Daniel died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 6:35 a.m. in the Crowley American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Daniel was a native of Thornton, Texas and resident of Jennings since 1954 moving here from Egan. She was a 1938 graduate of Thornton High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved to travel and go camping. She is survived by her husband, Basel F. Daniel of Jennings; a daughter, JoAnn Davis of Jennings; a son, Neal Daniel of Roanoke; two nieces, Linda Watson of Thornton, TX and Joy Redding of Granite Shoals, TX., four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Hallie Belle Polk Boatler, two sisters, a brother and a grandson.
