JENNINGS
Mrs. Bertha Ruth LeBlanc Crochet passed away November 29, 2017 at home with her family by her side. She was born October 30, 1943 in Fenton, Louisiana to John and Hazel Quibodeaux LeBlanc.
Mrs. Crochet lived most of her life in the Jennings community. She loved watching television, playing on her tablet and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for the sound of her joyous laughter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Rene (Ernest) Granger of Hayes; Margo (James) Manuel of Holmwood; Michelle Johnston of Elton; Rhonda (Jose) Bravo of Hathaway; one son, Kelvin (Vikki) Crochet of Lyons Point; three sisters, Velma Harris of DeRidder; Carolyn LeBlanc and Susie Menard, both of Roanoke; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Crochet in death are her parents; her husband, Elton Crochet; one sister, Audrey LeBlanc; three brothers, Jimmy, Harold and Sonny LeBlanc; one granddaughter, Michelle Granger; and one grandson, Elroy Johnston.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bertha Crochet will be held at a later date.
