LAKE ARTHUR

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Hebert Fuselier, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Mrs. Fuselier died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 in the Jeff Davis Living Center.

Funeral home visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. She like to walk and read, loved her grandchildren and loved to display their pictures on her wall.

Survivors include four daughters, Beatrice Rabalais and Florence (Greg) Sonnier both of Lake Arthur; JoAnne Fontenot of Hathaway and Roberta Fuselier of Lake Charles; two sons, Jimmy (Katrina) Fuselier and Paul (Angela) Fuselier both of Lake Arthur; one sister, Clotile Ryder of Lake Arthur; one brother, Thomas James Hebert of Cypress Point; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gaston and Mary Hebert; her husband, Herbert Fuselier and son-in-law Ricky B. Fontenot.
