Funeral services for Mr. Basel French Daniel, 97, of Jennings will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. October 29, until time of service.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Daniel died, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Daniel was born in Batson, Texas and moved to Jennings in 1954. Mr. Daniel served in the Army.

Mr. Daniel loved to garden and loved to joke around with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Byron) Davis of Jennings.

Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Boatler Daniel; his son Basel Neal Daniel; two grandsons Basel Shane Daniel and Blaine Davis; his parents, Charlie Finch Daniel and Esther Smith and numerous brothers and sisters.
