Barbara "Stuckey" Litteral

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Joyce “Stuckey” Litteral, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Clark and Rev. Kathy Doherty-Ogea officiating. Burial will be in the Raymond Methodist Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. Mrs. Litteral died at 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Litteral is a native of Houston, Texas and resident of the Jennings area 52 years. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. She worked at the Jennings American Legion Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for 40 plus years. She was part of the Red Hat Society Club, Volunteer Family Community Group, and the Cajun Travelers RV Club. Mrs. Litteral enjoyed taking cruises and traveling in their RV. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and was a board member of the Bishops Committee. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Glenn Litteral, Jr. of Jennings; one daughter, Lynette Jensen and husband, Benny of Hathaway; two sons, Randall Litteral and wife Missy of Elton; Scott Litteral of San Fransisco, CA; one sister, Ellen Kely and husband Bob Stocker of Salida, CO; and three grandchildren, Loryn Jensen, Shyla and Autumn Litteral. In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, l Lakeshore Drive, Lake Charles, LA 70601 or the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1818 North Main Street, Jennings, LA 70546 in her honor.
