JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Clifford (Barbara Nell Lopez) Courville, 62, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary led by Deacon Mike Tramel will be recited tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Courville died at 12:05 a.m., today, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Golden Age Nursing Home of Welsh. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a florist assistant at Bettys Flowers for over 20 years and she touched many lives with her talent and love of flowers. Mrs. Courville was a member of Immaculate Conception where she attended the Adoration Chapel once a week. She loved French music, cooking for her family and camping. She was known to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband of 44 years Clifford Courville of Jennings; her mother, Lillian Lopez of Jennings; two daughters, Christine Roy of Moss Bluff, Mandy Courville of Gueyan; two sons, Mark Courville and wife Susan of Hathaway, Coty Courville and wife Lori of Jennings; one brother, Robert (Dale) Lopez of Mermentau and seven grandchildren, Megan and Hillary Roy, Ryan Courville, Cody Wene, Courtney Vincent, Brennen Courville, and Logan Courville. Preceded in death by her father, Emmerson Lopez, one son, Jamie Courville and one sister, Betty Jane Stutes. Pallbearers will be Mark Courville, Brennen Courville, Kaleb Stutes, Keith Stutes, Ryan Courville and Wayne Fruge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Lopez, Cody Wene, Robert Lopez, Logan Courville, Troy Stutes andCoty Courville.
