Barbara Ann Leger

HackberryFuneral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Leger, 66 will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday April 11, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Hackberry with Rev. Rommel Tolention and Rev. Roland Vaughn officiating.

Burial will be in the Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mrs. Leger died on April 9, 2014 at her residence.

Visitation will be held begining at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church Hall in Hackberry on Thursday, April 10, 2014 and will continue until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.

She was a native of Lake Charles and moved to Jennings from Johnson Bayou. She was a high school graduate of Johnson Bayou and worked as a lab technician.

Mrs. Leger is survived by a daughter; Jessica West of Sulphur, LA, two sons; Pat Leger of Jennings and Kent (Jeanette) Leger of Lake Arthur, LA,, six sisters; Mary Nunez of Mauriceville, TX, Jackie Jinks of Johnson Bayour, LA, Connie Hicks of Mauriceville, Tx, Mary Constance of Big Lake, LA, Georgia Constance of Sulphur, LA, Wilma Sulivan of Grand Lake, LA, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson Authement and Azora LeFort Martin, and two sisters, Jean Erbelding and Thelma Griffith.
