Funeral services for Ms. Barbara Ann LeLeux Gary, 84, of Jennings, will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jude Hernandez officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Ms. Gary will begin Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 1:00 p.m. that will be led by her nieces.  Visitation will continue until the 2:00 p.m. service time.

Ms. Gary was born in Jennings on September 30, 1936 to parents Louis and Anna Belle Delahoussaye LeLeux.  She enjoyed dancing and loved being around people.  She was very active in her Catholic faith as she worked many years for Catholic Charities, her church, and at Our Lady Immaculate School in Jennings. She also worked for Grangers Men’s Shop for several years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Christie (Wayne) Melancon of Klondike, Lori (Tony) Burger of Jennings; four sons, Lynn (Jo Ann) Gary of Buna, TX, Joel Gary of Austell, GA, Neal (Lanora) Gary of Jennings, James (Karin) Gary of Navarre Beach, FL; one brother, Larry (Carol) LeLeux of Houston, TX and thirteen grandchildren.

Ms. Gary was preceded in death by her parents, and the father of her children, Thomas James Gary.
