Barbara Ann Burton

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Burton, 60 will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee-Mamou with Rev. David Broussard officiating. Burial will be in St. Jules Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday will be from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Burton was born on September 19, 1952 in Jennings to the late Shelby and Stella Fontenot. She was a homemaker and caregiver in Evangeline. She is survived by Jude Charles Burton, Sr. of Evangeline, two sons; Jude Charles Burton, Jr. of Tee-Mamou, Shelby Louis (Toni) Burton of Iota, four grandchildren; Collin Deville, Hannah, Rheagan and Holden Burton, four sisters; Wanda (Rodney) Bergeaux of Basile, Bonnie (Kermit) Boudreaux of Iota, Anna (Jim) Comeaux of Basile, Nora (Bob) Delp of Lampasas, Tx. , two brothers; Jerry (Carline) Fontenot of Evangeline, Mike (Karen) Fontenot of Lake Arthur and many godchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Stella Mae Roberie Fontenot, a son, Brandon Terrell Burton and two brothers, Robert and Donald Fontenot
