Barbara Ann Broussard

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Broussard, 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the LeBlanc Cemetery. Funeral home visitation is from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Broussard died at 2:46 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of the Mermentau/Midland area. She loved Cajun music, dancing, cleaning houses and visiting. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Delissa Gautreaux of Morse and Jesse Gautreaux of Lake Arthur; two sons, Jason Todd Broussard and wife Vicki of Hathaway, Cyrus Broussard of Midland; one sister, Margaret Broussard Thibodeaux and husband Terry of Lake Arthur; one brother, Berlyn Boogie Broussard and wife Tammy of Lake Arthur; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, JC and Grace Penn Broussard; two brothers, Dorsey and Paulie Broussard and her companion Picon Ray Allen Breaux.
