Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey McGee Broussard will be held, 87 of Lake Arthur will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Broussard will begin on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Broussard was born in Mamou on September 8, 1930 to Bilonie and Anna Guillory McGee. She enjoyed making and creating things, and was known as a talented artist and seamstress. In fact, she could do just about anything, but some of her favorite times were spent with her friends and family.

She enjoyed singing in the Our Lady of the Lake Choir and her duties as a Catholic Daughter.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lee Roy Broussard; five daughters, Debra (Billy) Graham of Arkansas; Roxanne (Alcide) Hargrave of Lake Arthur; Pam Broussard of Lake Arthur; Karen (Gilbert) Babineaux of Sunset; Selina (Robert) Wilson of Texas; a son, Kenneth (Diane) Broussard of Arlington, Texas; one sister Beverly Prejean of Rayne; and two brothers, Gilvin McGee and Bill McGee, both of Jennings. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Keith Broussard; three sisters, Ruby LeDoux, Everna Cormier and Hazel Carter; one brother Herman McGee and one grandson Brett Hoffpauir.
