Arthur J. Benoit

Funeral services for Arthur James Benoit, 59, of Lake Arthur will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Miguez Chapel in Jennings with Chaplain Tim Bergen officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Mr. Benoit was born in Lake Arthur on June 20, 1960 to Louis and Mary Jane Marceaux Benoit. After his service in the Army he moved back to Lake Arthur and remained there until his death. He worked as a Tankerman in the Petrochemical industry.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother, Harold Benoit.

Mr. Benoit leaves behind his loving wife Charlotte Simon Benoit; three daughters, Brittney Benoit of Lake Arthur, Courtney Benoit of Morse and Lindsey Benoit of Port Arthur, TX; a son Ted Malos, Jr. of Lake Arthur; five sisters, Jeanita (Keith) Cormer of Hathaway, Darlene (Tommy) Nelson of Jennings, Melissa Benoit of Evangeline, Benita (Robert) Duplechin of Sulphur and Georgette Bullock of Evangeline; a brother, Carl (Nora) Benoit of Morse, and nine grandchildren.
