Funeral services for Ms. Armilie “Erma” Leger, 88, will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Howard Varnado officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Ms. Leger passed away March 1, 2017 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Visitation for Ms. Leger will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2:30p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday morning at 8 a.m. until time of service.

Ms. Leger was the last surviving member of her family of ten children. She lived in the Jennings area for the past twenty-three years and was a member of Living Word Assembly of Jennings.

She is survived by her children Clara (Herman)Benoit of Jennings; Phyllis (Adam) Drounette Dahner of Port Richey, FL; Colleen (Allen) Drounette Doucet of Breaux Bridge; Floyd (Carmen) Marceaux, Jr. of Baytown, TX and Billy Ray Drounette of Jennings, as well as   grandchildren.

Ms. Leger was preceded in death by her parents, Clemile and Armilie Thibodeaux Leger; her husband, Floyd J. Marceaux, Sr.; two daughters, Gloria Marceaux and Angela Drounette; one son, Charles Marceaux; two grandsons, Christopher and Brent Benoit; three sisters and six brothers.
