JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Ardis Duncan Lamb, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Masters officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. Mrs. Lamb died at 8:20 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home. Mrs. Lamb was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1948. She earned a certificate in Medical Records from McNeese State University. She retired after 42 years as Regional Administrative Manager for the Louisiana Public Health system. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Louisiana Mayflower Society, The Elder William Brewster Society, Magna Charta Dames, and Order of the Eastern Star, Louisiana Public Health Association, Southern Health Association; BPW, and American Health Information Management Association. Survivors include three daughters, Claudia Lamb of Sulphur, Nancy Harrison and husband Jerry of Pearl, MS, Peggy Moss and husband John of Zachary; one son, Jon Lamb and wife Jodi of Jennings; one sister, Elizabeth Dalton of Natchitoches; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Leroy and Novelle Sturdivant Duncan; her husband, Walter Claude Lamb, Jr.; two sisters, Juanita Pete Wofford, Helen Dolly Green and one brother, Billy Mack Duncan. Pallbearers will be Jerry Harrison, John Moss, Benjamin Moss, Matthew Lamb, Aaron Lamb, and Andrew Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Harrison, Gage Ryder and Lawrence Foley.
