Archille Landry

Archille Landry, 77, of Jennings, LA, passed away in his home on November 6, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Following the service, Archille will be laid to rest in the Southwest Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday November 11, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until 8:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday until the time of the service.

Archille was born in Jennings, LA, on June 5, 1947, to Isaac Landry and Ada Martin Landry. He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army as a SP4 Radio Operator. He had a huge talent for woodworking and loved gardening. Everyone that knew him knows he loved making people laugh and he enjoyed life. Archille loved his family deeply and cherished every moment he had with them.

Left to cherish their memories of him are his loving wife of 40 years, Estella "Ducey" Landry; daughters, Charity (Coty) Thibodeaux, Nickie (Corey) Landry and Kristie Bertrand; son, Brian (Camille) Landry; brothers, James (Jerry) Landry, Robert (Anita) Landry, Elmer (Kay) Landry, Warren Landry, Tom (Mona) Landry and Eugene (Patsy) Landry; his grandchildren, Angelique, Micah, Keagan, Madison, Brayden, Karissa, Kate, Kamron, Jayden and Ada; four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends that will always remember him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary (Chick) Kibodeaux; sister-in-law, Judy Landry; and a granddaughter, Paige Martin.
