Funeral services for Mr. Anthony Patrick Bertrand, 65, of Lake Arthur will be held at Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Bertrand will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur and continue until time of service.

Mr. Bertrand was born on May 20, 1955 to Leslie and Ruth Savoy Bertrand in Anahuac, TX.  He worked as an inland driller and for 20 years he delivered daily the Lake Charles American Press.  He enjoyed doing woodcrafts. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who dedicated his life to his family.

Those left to treasure his memory are his wife, Evelyn Sue Bertrand; 3 daughters, Melissa Bertrand, Melinda (Scott) Sonnier and Cassie (Austin) Doucet; a brother, Jim (Hazel) Bertrand; 4 grandchildren, Dayton and Kendalyn Huntsberry, and Alexis and Colby Sonnier and 2 great grandchildren, Colton and Carson Sonnier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Woods and a brother, Leslie Bertrand, Jr.
