Anna Bertrand

JENNINGS A mass of Christian burial will be held for Mrs. Anna LeBlanc Bertrand, 96, at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 5, 2010 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m., Friday until time of services. A rosary led by Mrs. Ida Trahan will be recited at 6:00 p.m. today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Bertrand died at 11:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Lake Village Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Lewisville, Texas. Mrs. Bertrand was a resident of Lewisville, Texas 15 years moving there from Jennings. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Imer Bert Bertrand of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
