Anna Belle Martin

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Belle Guidry Martin, 82 will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Visitation will begin today, Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. and continue until the time of service on Monday. A rosary will be recited by Ms. Carrie Thibodeaux Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Mrs. Martin died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her daughters residence at 12:16 a.m. Mrs. Martin was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and enjoyed the hobbies of cooking, crocheting, bingo and going to the casino. She lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, Grandmother, Granny and Best Friend. She is survived by four daughters; Barbara (Leo) Crader, Catherine (Lark Dale) Broussard, Jane (Sidney Gene ) Theriot all from Lake Arthur and Carleen (Jonny) Kopnicky of Andrus Cove, one son; Ray Lee (Greta) Martin of Lake Arthur, two brothers; A. J. Guidry of Andrus Cove and Ronald Joe (Sally) Guidry of Lake Arthur, 13 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lee Martin, Sr., her parents, Amar and Lelia Guidry, two sisters; Gladys Roy and Velma Crader and a granddaughter, Lelia Martin. Pallbearers will be Albert Crader, Louis Martin, Michael Jules Martin, Larkie Broussard, Jeremy Kopnicky, Gerrard Theriot and Jason Theriot. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren
