Anita Trahan Legros

Anita Rose Trahan LeGros, 60, of Jennings, passed away following a long battle from cancer on June 1, 2024, at Resthaven Facility in Lake Charles.

Anita was born on February 20, 1964, in Jennings, to Allie Roy Trahan and Lillie Mae McClelland Trahan. She was a very loving and giving person who found great satisfaction in serving those around her. Her passions in life were her daughters and grandsons. She also enjoyed working in her yard, growing beautiful flowers and spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Paige Villenueva and Briana Fontenot; grandsons, Nicholas Villenueva, Asher Guidry, and Braylen Beitel; brother Kirk (Karen) Trahan; nieces, Amber (Aaron) Cooper, Tara Trahan; nephew, Chet (Chrissie) Trahan; great niece, Alayna Cooper and great nephew, Jace Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Kenneth Wayne Trahan.

The family has entrusted cremation to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings and a private graveside service will be held in Bertrand Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.
