Angela Veillon

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Ms. Angela Vincent Veillon, 47, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Ms. Veillon died at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Ms. Veillon was a lifelong resident of the Gueydan/Lake Arthur area. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Cursillo Group 106. Survivors include one daughter, Wendy Veillon of Basile; one son, Anthony Veillon of Basile; one sister, Beverly (Rodney) LaPoint of Gueydan; and four brothers, Cleveland P. (Jackie) Vincent of Gueydan, Jeffery W.(Arlene) Vincent of Beaumont, TX, Stephen (Jamie) Vincent of Gueydan and Allan J. Vincent of Gueydan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred I. and Theresa Russie Sonnier Vincent; and one brother, John Reid Vincent.
