Amailine Lopez Fruge

Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Amailine Lopez Fruge, 78 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation hours will be from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 and on Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Mrs. Fruge is a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters; Cindy (Darrell) Batey of Vidalia, La., Liz (Boo) Cormier of Mermentau, LA, Jolayne (Mandy Crochet) Cormier of Jennings, LA., two sons; Wayne (Shirley) Fruge of Jennings, LA, Joey (Heather) Fruge of Jennings, LA, a sister; Dorothy Courville, Jennings,LA, 11 Grandchildren and 15 ½ great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (J.U.) Fruge, Sr., her parents, William and Ursula Crochet Lopez, four sisters, Ella Crochet, Macy, Sadie and Amy Lopez and five brothers, Allie, Adam, Alex, Clyde and Jim Lopez.
