Funeral services for Mr. Alvin R. Conner, Sr., will be held Monday November 16^th, 2020 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will follow in the Andrus Cove Cemetery with Full Military Honors under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Alvin will begin on Sunday November 15^th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m. It will resume Monday November 16^th, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. and continue until the service at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Conner was a retired Electrician in the Oil Industry.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He loved to cook, golf, spend time with his family and friends. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Gloria Teal Conner; his son, Alvin (Jodi) Conner, Jr. of Camden, Al.; four daughters, Michelle (Marten) Schellekens of Houston, Tx, Melissa Ardoin of Jennings, Beth (Erick) LaRocque of Ragley and Monica Ardoin of Lake Arthur; seven sisters, Norma (Franklin) Price of Lake Arthur, Linda (Earl) Hanson of Walker, Sandra (JC) Kelly of Central, Marie (Larry) Higginbotham of Walker, Tessie Johnson of Kaplan, Bertha (Ronald) Fruge of Bell City, Mona (Charles) Johnson of Houston; three brothers, Kenneth (Diane) Conner of Burksville, Tx, Berton (Barbara) Conner of Hathaway, Erron Conner of Hathaway; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edovice and Lulia Bertrand Conner; a granddaughter, Morgan Dartez; three sisters, Anite Corbello, Wendell Welch, Jeanette Conner; and one brother, Eddie Conner.
