Funeral services for Mr. Allen Ray Guidry, 71, of Jennings will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton LeJeune officiating.

Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Guidry will begin, Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. and will continue until 9:00 p.m. It will resume Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Guidry was a native of Lake Arthur and lived in this area his entire life. He worked as a derrickhand in the oil and gas industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Zepherien and Zilda Benoit Guidry; his wife Sybil Guidry; his son, Kenneth Guidry and a brother, Ernest Guidry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Julie (Chad) Guidry of Jennings; Crystal (Dana) Donnell of Iowa; a son, Marshall (Heather) Guidry of Jennings; a son-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Duhon of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Merle Dugas of Gueydan and Theresa Ivey of Alabama; two brothers, Lester Guidry of Lake Arthur and Gregory Guidry of Zwolle; ten grandchildren, Colbey (Alacia)Duhon, Marisa (Wilton) Seaux, Darrion (Samantha) Stoute, Derrick Stoute, MiKayla Robinson, Ryan Guidry, Emily Guidry, Caleb Guidry, Anna Guidry, Alexander Fontenot and three great grandchildren, Aydden Stoute, Adalynn Stoute and Joseph Seaux.
