Funeral services for Alice Jean Bertrand Deshotel, 73 of Estherwood will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 21 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Deshotel was born in Crowley on May 30, 1945. She has lived in the Jennings Community most of her entire life. She loved listening to music, and cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Deshotel and her parents, Norris and Naomi Dubois Bertrand.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Bryan (Amanda) Deshotel of Estherwood, Charles Deshotel of Welsh and Albert Deshotel of Crowley; a sister, Mary Chatelain of Vinton; three brothers, Ronald Bertrand of Carencro, Robert Bertrand of Beaumont, and Kenneth Bertrand of Vinton; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
