Graveside services for Mr. Alcide LaCombe, Jr., 76, of Lake Arthur will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 12 noon with full military rites by the American Legion Post #19 Honor Guard. Mr. LaCombe passed away at his home on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Cremation and burial have been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. LaCombe worked as a deckhand in the marine industry. He loved people and especially enjoyed sitting on his porch where he could wave at all who passed by. He was very devoted to his family. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Viet Nam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cyprien and Eva Teal Lacombe.

Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Deanna Young of DeRidder and Eva Williams of Jonesboro; three sons, Alexander Lindsey of DeRidder; Jason Lindsey and Cyprien Lacombe, both of Texas; one sister, Peggy Guidry of Lake Arthur; grandchildren; Jessica Reese, Meagan Feil, Dillon McEwan, Megan Moses, Myra Chapman, Lex Martin; Trey Williams, Journie Williams, E.J. Raspaso, Desire Araujo and Dillon Lindsey; and 10 great grandchildren.
