Jennings

The family of Albert Manuel, 75, of Jennings, announces his passing on June 24, 2023.  Mr. Manuel chose cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Manuel was born on December 10, 1947, in Kinder to Drew Joseph and Nita Schexnyder Manuel.  He was a high school graduate.  He met the love of his life, Carol Ann Touchet and they married in 1966.   They were married for 56 wonderful years until her death in 2022.  He loved to mow grass, so he had the perfect job as Supervisor of grounds maintenance in Paradise Park.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Nancy Manuel, and Tara Manuel, both of Jennings; his son, Mark Manuel of Jennings; two sisters, Jeanette (Murphy) Guillory of Kinder and Noon (Darrell) Bruney of Iowa; brother, Paul (Trisha) Manuel of Jennings; grandchildren, Terri Manuel; and Hunter, Brilee, Aubree and Carter Manuel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Touchet Manuel; his parents; two brothers, Tony, and David Manuel.
