Mrs. Agnes B. Lemaire

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Broussard Daniel Lemaire, 87, of Kaplan will be held in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Eric Sonnier, of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

The visitation for Mrs. Lemaire begins on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the 11:00 a.m. service.

Mrs. Lemaire was born on February 19, 1937, in Lake Arthur to Jean Hazard and Beulah Vincent Broussard of Gueydan. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she worked as a surgical specialty nurse at Jennings American Legion Hospital for many years.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her second husband, Dennis Lemaire; daughters, Tammie Daniel (Rickey) Trahan and Sherry Daniel Graham; a son, Charles Grady Daniel, Jr.; grandchildren, Todd Cabra (Amy), Kattie Cabra (Seth), Rebecca Davis (Mike), Johnny (Jesse) Davis, Codey Trahan, Travis (Liza) Trahan, Charles Grady Daniel , III. (Megan), Kegon Daniel (Dana); twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Grady Daniel, Sr.; a daughter Taffie Daniel Davis; brothers, Morris “Lee” Broussard and Daniel Eugene Broussard; and sisters, Nolia Mae Brousard Luedke and Isabella Marie Broussard Hundley.
