Funeral services for Mrs. Adelle B. Duhon, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Funeral home visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

A rosary led by Deacon Dwayne Boudreaux will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Duhon died at 6:25 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings.

Mrs. Duhon was a native of Lacassine and a resident of Lake Arthur 60 years. She was a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1954. She attended the Jennings Trade School and studied business. She worked for the Norton and Orgeron CPA firm for several years and the Town of Lake Arthur. She enjoyed traveling, music, religion, reading, baking and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the church choir.

Survivors include two daughters, Roseanna Jackson and husband Ivy I of Jennings, Marianne Hopkins of Florein, LA; five sons, Anthony (Tony) Myers and wife Victoria of Torrance, CA, Mitchell (Mickey) Myers, Sr. and wife Belinda of Lake Arthur, Roger David Myers and wife Donna of DeBary, FL, Peter Myers and wife Susan of Lake Arthur, Roland Duhon of Lake Arthur; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way and one great great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Elizabeth Rose Gaspard Buras; her first husband, Cliff Daniel Myers, Jr. and second husband, Eugene Duhon; four sisters, Wilma Minnix, Louise (Betty) Bundrige, Pearl Hopkins, Bertha Buras; and three brothers, Jerome Buras, William Buras and Bernard Buras.

Pallbearers will be Cliff A. Myers, James Myers, Ivy Jackson, II, Adam Jackson, Jeremy Myers, Daniel Myers, and Jeremiah Henson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mitchell Myers, Jr., Matthew Duhon and Joshua Myers.
