A.D. Reed

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Adrian “A D” Reed, 78, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday; and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Reed died at 11:50 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Reed was a lifelong resident of Jennings. He loved to fish, hunt, and playing his weekly card game with his family and have early morning coffee with his buddies. He enjoyed spending many hours on his house boat, camping and mowing yards for his friends and family. Survivors include his three sons, Kyle, Brent and Adrian Cade Reed all of Jennings; one sister, Anna Grace Moore of Andrus Cove; two brothers, Edward Reed of Erath and Fabian Reed of Lake Charles; and two grandchildren, Kylie and Macie Reed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fabian and Pauline Reed; his wife, Bettie Jane Reed; one sister, Mary Vidrine; five brothers, Edwin, Edmund, John, Mack and James Reed.
