LAKE ARTHUR

Funeral services for Mr. Ted W. Meyer, 46, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Bro. Brian Wells officiating.

Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Mr. Meyers body will be cremated after the service.

Mr. Meyer died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at his residence in Sulphur.

He was a native of Lake Arthur and a resident of Sulphur. He was a draftsman at Meyer and Associates. He loved fishing, the outdoors and being on the water.

Survivors include his parents, Alfred and Maxine Norstrum Meyer of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Linda Fonger and husband Michael of Lake Arthur, LeaAnn Yancey and husband Matthew of Fort Worth, TX; one brother, Kirk Meyer of Katy, TX; one niece Lacey Herbstler and husband Jason; three nephews, Rayce Mayor of Natchitoches LA, Stuart Yancey of Austin TX and Spencer Yancey of Ft. Worth TX.

  1. Maxine and Al: I have been out of town this week. I am so sorry to learn of the death of your son. Will pray for all of you!!!

  2. Ted you were like a brother to me, We grew up together. You will never be forgotten. I will miss your laugh, jokes and texts and phone calls. A part of me died with you.

  3. My mom amd I send our sincerest condolences and prayers to all of you at this time. Ted was a sweet, gentle person whos presence will surely be missed by many. Please take comfort in the fact that he is now at peace for eternity…no more pain,suffering or struggles. He is happy,whole and resting in his Father's welcoming arms.

  5. Saddened to hear of Ted's passing so young. We will always remember his smile, sense of humor and patience with Aunt Charlotte, taking her fishing..Also his caring for Grandma Helen. It meant so much to her and us. Much Love

  7. So sorry to hear about Ted's passing. It had been years since I had seen him but he always made me laugh. Prayers and thoughts of comfort to his family and friends.
