JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Russell Paul Murray, 83, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Wells officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Honors will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Mr. Murray died at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, July 13, 2014 in the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings. Mr. Murray was a native of Irvington, New Jersey and was a 30 year resident of Louisiana moving here from Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired truck driver. Survivors include three daughters, Debra Tarver and Linda Fry both of Lewistown, Montana and Cynthia Colburn; one son, David Murray of Beaumont, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his parents, James Paul and Harriet Reaburg Murray; his first wife, Eloise Padgett Murray; and his second wife, JoAnn Murray.
