  5. Love and Blessings to the De la Croix family. Coach Paul was a great example
    of how to live life, full of love and dedicated to his numerous pursuits.
    He left an indelible mark and example to all he came into contact with.
    Rest in peace, coach.

  6. My thoughts and prayers are with all you! I told my sisters that Mr. DeLaCroix was exactly what he needed to be in his career choice. His love of young people and his genuine desire to guide and influence them for a better future was always so prevalent and visible in him. Looking at his beautiful tribute video shows his love for his family and his dedication to all. I pray that you each may find a small measure of peace in your time of sorrow. I have no doubt that he was welcomed into heaven with all of God’s Grace and mercy. God bless each of you and a special hug to Mrs. DeLaCroix.

  7. Coach Paul touched the lives of so many of us young men in Oakdale during the 1950’s and 1960’s. His touch had a very positive and powerful influence for some of us who deserved the “rim cuts” he bestowed on us. May God’s blessings be abundant for the Delacroix families.

  8. Denise and Deidre,
    Jim and I are so very sorry to learn of your Dads passing. We met him while he visited in SC. He was so full of life and so vivacious! Our sympathies go out to all the family.
    Our love,
    Penny and Jim Valek

  11. I send condolences and prayers to Aunt Roma Nell and my cousins as you mourn the death of Uncle Paul. I have many fond memories of Uncle Paul when I would visit Cherie in Oakdale.
    God bless you all.
    Love, Paula (Cissy)

  12. We send our prayers and sympathy To the De La Croix Family. We will always remember him as a great basketball coach and mentor to many students at Oakdale High School.

  13. Although I’ve known Paul for many years, my fondest memories are visiting with him at the gym. He always had a great smile, wanted to know something about you, and loved sharing stories. He had a special grin when you asked about his kids or grandkids. His tenacity to stay fit and to be as good as he could be were special traits. What a great example he was to many people. I’m in Natchitoches and can’t be there for any of the services😢😢, but please know I’m with you in spirit. Love, Joy💚💚💚

  14. To the De La Croix Family

    I would like to say that Mr. Paul was one of the finest men that I have ever known in my 84 years.
    I know that he will be missed by his family but just remember the good times you had with him, God has a place for him in his Kingdom and he will have a winner. He loved working with young people in all fields of life. Sorry that I could not attend the service but we will all miss Coach De La Croix.

    May God be with his family during this time of grief——–{ We loved Mr. Paul }
