Nancy A. Hayes

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy A. Hayes, 65, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church Mausoleum. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Hayes died at 8:10 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Hayes was lifelong resident of the Jennings area and was Senior Vice President at Jeff Davis Bank. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends and family and her monthly visits with her Welsh High School Class of 1966. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Gordon Hayes of Jennings; one son, Danny LeJeune and wife Lisa of Lake Charles; two brothers, Howell Ardoin and wife Angie of Welsh and Tommy Ardoin of Pine Island. Mrs. Hayes is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Eula Guidry Ardoin. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society,P.O. Box 22718,Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or a charity of their choice.

  2. To the Hayes Family, I am so sorry for your lost I work at the Ville Platte Branch I only met Mrs. Nancy once or twice but I've heard stories about her and she was a wonderful lady. My prayers go out to your family. Jean

  3. When I think of Nancy, I will remember her beautiful smile and how much she enjoyed life. We thank God for putting her in our lives and I know that we as family and friends will cherish the memories left behind from a life well lived.

  4. I called her momma Nancy, because she could love and fuss at you, like only a mother could. When I battled my own health problems she was a source of encouragement and never complained about the pain she was enduring. She was probably the strongest woman I have ever known and she will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to Mr. Gordon, Danny, her family and her bank family.

  5. Dear Gordon & family: Nancy was so VERY beloved to me and to MANY!!!! Her smile & her radiant personality endeared her to all. She has been a valued asset to the Jeff Davis Bank for many years—and will be irreplacably missed. I am in Chicago for the month, so I will not be able to attend for support to you.   6. To all of the family of Nancy. Such a Dedicated, hard working, wonderfun person. Nancy faught a long hard battle. She rests now in the arms of our Father in Heaven. She will dearly be missed by all. I knew her only thru my job at JD Bank, Kirby Office. May our Father in Heaven guide you all and give you strength to make it thru the days ahead. The Holidays will b the hardest of all. I lost my baby brother 12/15/2008, I can relate the hardship ahead. May God Bless each of you.   7. Mr Gordon, Danny, and family. Sending our condolences. We are so sorry we were unable to attend the visitation time this evening. Dane sends his best to Danny. And I've been gone from Jeff Davis 8 years now, but fondly remember Nancy, she was a wonderful lady. Had a great smile and great laugh. I always enjoyed being around her. We will be praying for all of you during the next few days and will continue to keep you in our prayers .

  10. I recently learned this past Friday about Mrs. Nancy's passing. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. She was such a sweet and dear lady. I know she will be missed by so many people. My prayers are with you Danny and Mr. Gordon, and the rest of the family.
