Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. There are no words to express my sympathy and grief for you all at this time or ever. May God carry you all through this and through the future. It goes without saying that we are all a message away should any of you need anything and we continue to pray for Josh's soul as well as all of you.

  2. I'll always remember Josh as a little boy. When my Dad (Howard Sonnier) was dying, Josh didn't want to leave him. He slept on the floor next to his bed. He was so cute. That's a precious memory I'll always treasure.

  3. What a terrific man Josh was. I had the pleasure of knowing him for the past several years and of making many specklebelly hunts with him. His skill as a guide was unsurpassed. We will miss him tremendously.

  4. What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us. Helen Keller I'm so so sorry for everyone's loss. Josh was one of a kind… From a little boy to a man he carried dignity and pride. The INSPIRATION of the love he had for everyone will shine always. My advice to all… The only way to end grief is to "grieve"…. I'm so sorry.

  5. I remember Josh driving the rice cart on the farm and he was always happy and very respectful. Kevin i know the pain is great and I have said a prayer for Josh and you guys and may he rest in peace always. He was a true gentleman.

  6. Words cannot express my sorrow on the passing of Josh. He was a fine man & always a gentleman. I firmly believe Our Lord has a special purpose for Josh in the his heavenly life. Not a better person that I know to look over over all us on earth. Our thoughts & prayers are with all his family. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

  7. Kevin, Paula, and Meghan, We are richer for having known Josh. And no words can express how sad we are at the loss of him. May God be with you all. Brian and Nancy Thibodeaux, Melanie Richard Telford, Jeff Telford and Claire, Caroline & Alexander Telford, Sean, Emily and Finn Richard, Barry Paul Richard II and Courtney Villemarette

  8. My Rock. I'm sure Josh was a Rock that many people leaned on as He was kind, gentle, strong, loving, and generous. I taught Josh in the second grade. There was a time when he was out of school for a vacation with his family that he thought of his teacher, ME. He brought me a souvenir, a simple, small, brown rock. On the rock was written the name of the place he had taken it from. For many of you, this may be not a big deal. For me, I kept that rock in my desk drawer for many years, and always was appreciative that sometimes, you make an impact on a child. He was one of a kind. He thought of me, while on vacation!!!! And he was only about 7 years old. I bet if I search good enough, I still have that rock. It is priceless. I enjoyed that young man in my classroom. He was super smart, swift, and always ready for the next task. My heartfelt prayer are going out to his family left behind. I know the the God we serve will comfort you and give you the peace that passes all understanding. For in the Word it says in Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" We will not understand this tragedy, but we should still trust in Our Lord! With All my love…

  9. My heart goes out to the family of this young man. Although I did not know him personally I did know the family of he and his wife. I know his life was cut short but he and his wife took the world by the horns and spent their time they had together with the precious son. There is no better way of spending you last few days, weeks or years together. If we take anything away from this tragic loss it should be that we should always cherish our loved ones because no truer words have been said then "You Never Know". My love and prayers go out to those he left behind.

  10. My prayers go out to your family. I heard what a wonderful man Josh was even though I never met him. I lift to heaven words of love and Jesus our Lord and Savior to give u all His strength. I am so sorry u have to go through this hardship.
