    • May Johnny Guinns soul rest in Peace. From Trudy Farrier mother of Monica Savage.
      Beautiful family you have .

  10. On behalf of The SWLA Economic Development Alliance, we send our deepest sympathy. Rep. Guinn was a great supporter of The Alliance and our region. Personally, Johnny was a good friend. He was bigger than life and a superb auctioneer. To Rosalie and family, my prayers are with you during this sad time.

  11. Candle 1Praying for Liz and the entire Guinn family. I am so sorry for the loss of your legendary Dad.

  12. To the Guinn Family, especially Mrs. Rosalie, Lil, Daniel, Rosie, Catherine, Connor and Juliana,
I have so many great, funny memories in all of our years attending and participating in various 4-H events across Louisiana. Somehow it seemed Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Rosalie were either nominated or volunteered to drive all of us to and from. A lot of miles were put on the Guinn family suburban driving us to achievement days, junior leader meetings and events, airport pickup, Camp Grant Walker, and anywhere in between. The burb would be filled with kids and random stops on scenic highways including a bakery in Gross Tete and a seafood joint on the way to Pineville, just to name a few. Coming from a small family of 5, being in the middle of this big family as an extra was always an experience. Lot of laughs and some fights too 😀. But Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Rosalie never complained about a few extras and the adventure never seemed to end! I know he was so incredibly loved by his whole family and I’m thankful for all the memories I have with you all years ago, writing this and thinking back brings a smile to my face and laughter – I just picture him at the wheel somehow not bothered by our shenanigans in the back seat. Many prayers, hugs, and love being sent to you all! He is always with you.
    With love,
    Caroline (Watkins) Martinez

Tell Grams Hello for me and your Beautiful Sweet Parents! I miss them all so much and you. I love you Bro-Cuz! Be Well and I know you are there where you belong! *Gentle Hugsssszzzzz****

  14. Candle 6So sorry for your loss, I enjoyed being around him, he always made me laugh, made me feel like i was the only one in the room. I will miss his stories and humor.

  15. Candle 2To my Brother, our Family shares the pain of losing Johnny. As ya’ll know, after serving 12 years with Johnny and “rooming” 10 years together in Baton Rouge, WE will always be Brothers. 19. Candle 1Goodbye dear cousin.
May God contine to bless your family.
May peace be upon them during this time of loss.

  20. Ms. Rosalie and family you have Judy and my deepest sympathy for your loss. Such a huge loss.
Mr. Johnny was an awesome man. No matter who he met anywhere they would leave with a smile on their face!! He always was looking for ways to help anyone.
I know first hand because while he was attending the annual Fenton Catholic Church auction he volunteered for 3 years to help me call the auction. A couple years he even brought Mike and Daniel to help call the auction. He was so proud of Mike and Daniel for taking time out of their busy schedule to help out. As he was proud of his whole family!!

Mr. Johnny will be so missed.
God Bless you Ms. Rosalie and all your family. Ken and Judy Boudreaux

  21. It was an Honor to serve with Representative Johnny Guinn in the Louisiana Legislature from 2016 to 2020.

Rep. Guinn stood out in the Legislature: Honest, Authentic, Fearless, Independent– Real.

This is an age in which Politicians often scramble in a breathless frenzy to compete for Special Interest dollars in Washington DC and Baton Rouge. Bought off Politicians may be the Death of us.

Johnny Guinn never bowed down to the Golden Idol of self-interested PACs, Special Interests or Lobbyists. He was an honorable man.

We will do well to remember– and honor– his legacy.

Our Prayers are with Rep. Guinn’s family.

    John & Carola Milkovich
    Keithville, Louisiana

  22. Rosalie and family, Johnny was such a nice person. I know he will be missed. You all have my deepest condolences. I pray that God gives you strength during this difficult time.
    Donna Biddick Wild

  23. To the Johnny Guinn family and James and Tim:
    You have my deepest sympathy.
    One memory of Johnny:
At OLHC in junior high he and his band sang “ Gloria” at school.

    R. I.P. Johnny

    Mark Buller
