Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda McFarlain, 73, of Jennings will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Wells officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. McFarlain will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. It will resume Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. McFarlain enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved cooking and baking for her beloved family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Morris McFarlain and Stella Bergeaux McFarlain Clay.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Janelle) Benoit, Dwight (Koni) Benoit, and Dale(Theresa)Benoit all of Evangeline and Daniel (Jennifer)Benoit of Jennings. She also leaves behind her sister, Judy McFarlain, her brother Gerald McFarlain, both of Evangeline; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

  4. Judy, Mark, Dwight, Dale & Danny. I just came across your mom' s obituary. I am so sorry for you all's loss. I was so very shocked. I knew your mom years ago when all of you were babies. Judy was a friend of my parents and she would visit us when we were young and we loved her. I pray the great memories of your mom will comfort all of you. My prayers are with all of you.
